Role purpose
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in Investment Management with Vicinity Centres. As an Assistant Investment Analyst, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to real projects, working alongside experienced professionals while building core analytical, commercial, and stakeholder skills.
Designed for recent graduates with up to two years of work experience, this role offers a structured pathway to develop your capabilities, apply your academic knowledge in a real-world environment, and contribute meaningfully to investment and business initiatives. You’ll gain exposure to core investment processes including financial modelling, valuations and asset strategy.
What You’ll Do
Support investment and business initiatives through research, data analysis, and insight generation
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and financial/analytical documentation
Contribute to project delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with internal stakeholders to support project outcomes
Support team operations, including the coordination of meetings and documentation management
Participate in team discussions, contributing ideas and insights to drive continuous improvement
Assist in financial modelling, including cash flow analysis, IRR calculations, and scenario testing
Support valuation analysis, market benchmarking, and sensitivity analysis
What You’ll Bring
Recent graduate with a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline. One or two years experience in the workforce preferred
Strong analytical capability with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders
Demonstrated interest in property or investment strategy
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn and develop professionally
Strong Excel skills (financial modelling capability highly regarded)
