The role is positioned as a functional and business analysis owner, with strong expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder engagement across Global Markets trading systems, processes, and delivery risk. Project management skills are required to support delivery execution and ensure successful outcomes.
As part of the GM Business Technology and Operations team, the incumbent will be responsible for:

Driving functional gap analysis, process mapping, and business workflow optimization to enhance Global Markets technology and operational efficiency.
Formulating solution options and supporting delivery trade-offs to balance Front Office, regulatory, and operational expectations.
Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
Managing and supporting SIT/UAT cycles, including test scenario development, defect triage, and functional validation of deliverables.
Providing business analysis leadership in resolving issues across Front Office, P&L, Market Data, and trade booking domains, including root cause analysis and remediation.
Developing practical domain roadmaps and phased delivery approaches, supporting the enterprise’s move towards the future state vision, considering business, technical, and delivery constraints.
Communicating principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and addressing questions/concerns.
Driving project management activities such as tracking progress, managing dependencies, risks, and constraints, and providing regular status updates to senior management.
Representing the business analysis function independently and with authority in senior forums, working groups, and governance committees.
Acting as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, manage pushback, and influence outcomes.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated leadership in functional business analysis roles, preferably within financial services or banking.
Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on Functional Business Analysis experience in Global Markets or Capital Markets environments.

Proven track record in requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and business process mapping.
Experience managing SIT/UAT cycles, test scenario development, and defect triage.
Ability to identify gaps, propose pragmatic solutions, and articulate delivery impacts, prioritizing business outcomes over documentation.
