Location: Darlington Campus
Backend-focused AEM role supporting high-impact University websites
Work with AEM, Java, Cloud Manager, CI/CDand modern delivery tools
Salary range between $126,065 to $142,171 + 17% Superannuation

The opportunity
Enterprise Services is seeking a backend-focused Full Stack Developer with strong Adobe Experience Manager capability to support the University’score web platforms.
Working in an Agile team,you’lldevelop,deployandmaintaincomplex AEM websites and digital applications, creating robust components, templates and integrations that support a high-quality digital experience.
Whatyou’lldo
Develop and maintain AEM websites and digital applications with a focus on quality,performanceand reliability.
Build AEM templates, components and backend services using Java and AEM best practices.
Create automated and unit tests usingappropriate frameworks, including JUnit5 and AEM Mocks.
Review code with a focus on security, performance,resilienceand coding standards.
Collaborate with developers, testers, DevOps,vendorsand business stakeholders across an Agile delivery environment.
Whatwe’relooking for
Must havestrong AEM experience, including editable templates,multisitemanager, blueprints,and the use of online marketing components such as advanced targeting, personalisation, etc.
Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, AWS, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo, and Git or Bitbucket.
Experience integrating AEM with third-party web services and applying best practices across accessibility, SEO, security,performanceand responsive architecture.
Experience utilising AI tools (e.g.Githubco-pilot) within the development lifecycle is a plus.
StrongJava skills, ideally with 5+ years’ experience building Java 11 onwards applications.
Strong understanding of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak, Coral UI and Granite UI.
Strong communicationskills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
