Internship – Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety (Fall 2026)

Summary: Universal Orlando Resort is offering an internship opportunity in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health & Safety for Fall 2026. The EHS Intern will work alongside industry professionals to gain knowledge and skills in industrial hygiene and safety program management while participating in various responsibilities related to data collection and analysis. Responsibilities: - Collects Industrial Hygiene (IH) data and prepares data for analysis and review - Data types may include: - Noise monitoring - Indoor Air Quality Assessments - Ventilation Assessment - Assists with analysis of collected IH data - Compiles exposure assessments for review - Participates in Team Meetings and assists with special projects - Attends meetings with stakeholders and various levels of leadership prior to and during data collection - Gains exposure to other areas within EHS via shadows, meet & greets, departmental partnerships to learn about divisions - Conduct safety risk and PPE assessments and perform field observations - Participate in EHS Committee meetings Required Qualifications: - In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above - Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required - A transcript is required upon application Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required - Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, primarily Excel, required - Preferred previous experience with industrial hygiene equipment and/or IH data management system - Relevant Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health & Safety experience and/or degree or certificate seeking student highly preferred Required Skills: Industrial Hygiene knowledge, Data analysis Important Skills: Microsoft Excel, Occupational Health & Safety Nice-to-Have Skills: Written communication, Verbal communication Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall Benefits: Housing financial assistance
