Job Description
Summary: Transdev is leading the way in autonomous driving technology and is hiring Fleet Operations Coordinators for their Autonomous Vehicle team in San Francisco. The role involves operating vehicles and handling heavy computer equipment while maintaining safety standards and efficiency in tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive vehicles such as vans, trucks, or other cars, on a schedule of five days a week, either independently or with a co-driver. Must be able to remain seated and stand for extended periods
- Collecting, lifting, installing and moving heavy computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform tasks efficiently and by predetermined schedules. Keep records and reports up to date daily
- Set up cars for charging and maneuvering cars in the parking lot
- Disinfect cars, work stations and prepare sanitization kits
- Maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicle
- Ensuring startup and shift end checklists are being followed
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads
- Proficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps (i.e. Gmail, Chats, and Drive, including Sheets and Docs)
- Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone (Android preferred by not required)
- Must be able to type at least 40 adjusted wpm
- Must have and maintain a driving record that meets state AVT (Autonomous Vehicle Tester) and/or other applicable regulations and laws
- Meets driver requirements, including driving record and criminal history under applicable regulations and laws in the state(s) in which the self-driving vehicle monitor will be working
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must be able to work specific shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends, as well as overnight shifts and travel for up to one month
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and driving record review
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Subject to ongoing compliance screening and safety evaluations
