Job Description
Summary: Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to provide current college students with challenging assignments and valuable exposure to the company's senior leaders while working on various engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences
- Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently
- Ensure effective and efficient completion of projects by planning and implementing courses of action with other functions and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, or Industrial Systems Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
- U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Applicants must currently reside in the Tyler, TX area in order to be considered, as the position requires year-round availability while attending school full time
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sophomore or Junior year status preferred
