Job Description
Summary: Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. They are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to assist the Manufacturing Engineering team with new product launches and process improvements, while also supporting the design and setup of production assembly cells.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the development of manufacturing process concepts
- Manage project objectives and tasks as assigned
- Trouble shoot and improve new/existing manufacturing processes
- Aid in the design and purchase of production equipment as required
- Submit work orders and work with maintenance to complete tasks
- Manage onsite contractors during equipment installations as required
- Support the development and maintenance of process documentation
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Support MDI process of problem solving, and continuous improvement as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- BS Engineering or Engineering Technologies degree preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing
- Microsoft Office knowledge required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Creo or other 3D design software a plus
