Job Description
Summary: Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to handle day-to-day details, interact with leadership and vendors, and ensure smooth workplace operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, employees, and guests and direct them to the appropriate contacts
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails
- Maintain reception area appearance and ensure a welcoming environment
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room reservations
- Prepare documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed
- Support day to day operation by setting up vendors, assist with vendor payment
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and maintaining databases
- Coordinate office supplies, ordering, and inventory management
- Provide administrative support for company events
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform general clerical tasks
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and up to two (2) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
