Job Description
Summary: The Town of Jackson is looking for a qualified and motivated individual to join their Public Works Department as a Collection System Operator in the Wastewater Division. The role involves cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring wastewater collection lines and systems, along with operating the sewer jet.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, maintaining, repairing and monitoring of the wastewater collection lines and system
- Operation of the sewer jet
- Backup plowing and sanding
Required Qualifications:
- High School graduation or equivalent
- a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (or ability to obtain within 2 months)
- a Level II DEQ Wastewater Collection License (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
