Job Description
Summary: Tolmar is a fully integrated pharmaceutical company based in Colorado that develops, manufactures, and distributes both branded and generic prescription medications. The Intern will assist Engineer Coordinators with managing artwork, labels, and documentation related to pharmaceutical labeling design and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Tolmar Engineer Coordinators with creating, managing, revising, approving and tracking of artwork, labels and components
- Assist Engineer Coordinators with developing/updating reviews, processes, work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Assist Tolmar Engineer Coordinators with change actions and CAPA actions
- Assist with Pharmaceutical labeling design, coordination, and documentation
- Assist Engineer Coordinator team with documentation required for material management and manufacturing (i.e. BOMs and Batch Records)
- Performs administrative tasks associated with maintaining, tracking, and generating reports associated with internal investigations, and training documentation for the department
Required Qualifications:
- An interest in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical engineering design, coordination and documentation
- Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice or acceptance criteria
- Ability to interact collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Technical writing and documentation review skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, demonstrating strong organization and time management skills; to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills with demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook)
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering discipline or related field
- Interest in regulated industry including pharmaceutical, health care, medical device, production or manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a plus
- Technical job history a plus
