Job Description
Summary: The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while simultaneously providing a genuine, unforgettable experience for our guests and team. This role will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Employment Office and serve as the main point of contact for all inquiries to the Employment office.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the first point of contact for the Employment Office. This includes greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive into the office, offering assistance with questions and directing to the appropriate team/department as necessary
- Answer phones and appropriately field all incoming calls to the Employment Office
- Prepare new hire packets and new hire folders for both domestic and international arrivals
- Complete and verify work authorizations and complete Form I-9 correctly and in a timely manner. Assist with E-Verify cases
- Assist with Employee onboarding which includes answering questions, tracking progress, troubleshooting issues, and logging into system
- Regularly check and update onboarding scheduler and communicate any changes to new hire’s onboarding/orientation to appropriate hiring manager
- Assist applicants with the employment application process and direct applicants to appropriate open positions
- Complete tasks that involve inputting data into or exporting data from database
- Assist international team with housing assignment for incoming international participants
- Assist international team with making profile for incoming international participants
- Create, maintain, and keep all information updated on the employment applicant tracking system
- Assist with both internal and external career fairs as needed
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Offer 5 star and 5 diamond standards while offering above and beyond services to all new and existing employees
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years experience and/or training as an Employment or HR professional preferred; Experience working in an office setting a plus
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Must be highly organized and meticulous with details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks when there are conflicting priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and be proactive in problem solving
- Comfortable answering phones and communicating in-person, over the phone and via email
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that is primarily indoors and outdoors at times
- Must be available to work regular schedule of Monday through Friday with regular operating hours 8:30am-5:00pm
- Some evenings and Saturdays may be necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Form I-9 Employment Verification compliance a plus
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus
