Job Description
Summary: Terros Health is a healthcare organization committed to developing the next generation of Behavioral Health care providers. They are seeking students currently enrolled in their Master's Program in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, and other related specialties to join their McDowell Road Health Center as interns.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct complete biopsychosocials to diagnose and recommend treatment
- Provide individual counseling with trauma informed care
- Lead/co-lead treatment groups for co-occurring disorders
- Work within an interdisciplinary team including primary care, behavioral health medication prescribers, case managers
- Assess for and complete referrals to address social determinant of health needs
- Learn the foundations for providing quality clinical care throughout your career
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health specialties
- Ability to answer screening questions detailing University/College, program enrolled in, semester with dates for learning opportunity, and required credentials of a qualified Supervisor/Preceptor
