About Tentworks Interactive
Tentworks Interactive is a global indie game studio headquartered in Singapore, with offices in San Francisco and Bangalore. Our mission is to make India a global contender in the gaming industry by developing innovative and high-quality strategy games.
Our flagship title, Becoming Pablo, is a roguelike grand strategy and tower defense game set between the 1970s and 1990s. As we expand our global presence, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and build a thriving player community.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing initiatives for Becoming Pablo and strengthen the Tentworks Interactive brand worldwide. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in game marketing, community management, and global campaign execution.
You will work closely with the CMO, third-party publishing partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing strategies across digital platforms, social media, PR, and industry events.
Game & Brand Marketing
- Develop and execute global marketing strategies for Becoming Pablo and future titles.
- Build and enhance Tentworks Interactive’s brand visibility worldwide.
- Collaborate with third-party publishing and marketing partners.
- Align marketing initiatives with business and revenue objectives.
Community & Social Media Management
- Manage and grow Tentworks’ presence on Discord, Reddit, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Own and moderate the official Discord server and Reddit account.
- Foster a highly engaged global community.
- Plan and execute AMAs, developer updates, and community-driven campaigns.
Steam & Platform Marketing
- Optimize the Steam store page, assets, and promotional campaigns.
- Drive wishlist growth and conversions.
- Support Early Access and full-release marketing strategies.
Influencer, PR & Communications
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and media.
- Coordinate PR initiatives, press releases, and interviews.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management.
Performance & Growth Marketing
- Plan and execute paid marketing campaigns across digital channels.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance using data-driven insights.
- Track KPIs such as wishlists, engagement, and ROI.
Events & Industry Presence
- Represent Tentworks Interactive at trade shows and gaming events in India and internationally.
- Support brand activations and partnerships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Growth in Steam wishlists within the first six months.
Sales performance post-launch.
Engagement and growth across Discord and Reddit.
Influencer reach and media coverage.
ROI from paid marketing campaigns.
Brand awareness and global visibility.
4–7 years of experience in marketing within the gaming industry.
Proven track record in game marketing and community management.
Hands-on experience managing Discord and Reddit communities.
Strong understanding of the global PC gaming ecosystem.
Experience with Steam platform marketing and product launches.
Expertise in social media, influencer marketing, and PR.
Experience in performance marketing and paid acquisition.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
Ability to collaborate with global teams and external partners.
Willingness to travel for trade shows and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience launching games on Steam or other PC platforms.
Background in indie game marketing or working with publishers.
Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HypeAuditor, Google Analytics, and Steamworks.
Experience with crisis management and brand communications.
Passion for strategy, tycoon, simulation, or tower defense games.
