MANUFACTURING ENGINEER I

Summary: TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support brazing and assembly operations, focusing on process improvements and working closely with manufacturing personnel. Responsibilities: - Implement projects specific to cost savings, successfully demonstrated practices and continuous improvement - Identify and track critical tooling by evaluating performance metrics such as equipment utilization/downtime, scrap, and change over time - Create and maintain documentation for operating procedures and standard work documents - Develop cost estimates for tooling and applicable manufacturing processes - Resolve quality issues as needed to address customer needs - Maintain project documentation including timelines and project status reports Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering required - Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well within a cross-functional team - Strong analytical skills and attention to details - Computer skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), AutoCAD, and Pro/E - Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee Required Skills: Mechanical abilities, Process improvement, Lean tools knowledge Important Skills: AutoCAD, Pro/E, Project management Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, MS Office, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), Disability, Life insurance, Employee stock purchase plan, Paid time off, Voluntary benefits
