2026 Summer Nurse Internship - June 4 through July 31

Summary: Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. The Nurse extern role is designed to provide a learning opportunity for students by acquiring basic clinical skills and advancing their knowledge related to patient care. Responsibilities: - Performs a variety of delegated basic patient care services under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN) - Responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living and for maintaining an environment conducive to the patient's safety Required Qualifications: - Must be currently enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program - Must have successfully completed at least one (1) clinical semester of the core curriculum - Active American Heart Association CPR/BLS – Healthcare Provider card - Able to maintain flex requirements of 24 hours weekly - Acceptance of a Nurse Intern position requires the completion of mandatory hospital Orientation on June 5 and June 6, 2025 - Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 Required Skills: Clinical skills, Patient care, Activities of daily living assistance, American Heart Association CPR/BLS – Healthcare Provider Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
