Medical Biller

Summary: Tactile Medical specializes in developing at-home therapy devices for various health conditions. The Medical Biller will prepare, review, and submit claims to payers, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to HIPAA requirements. Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit paper and/or electronic claims to various payers ensuring accurate submission for clean claim production - Manage reports and resubmission of electronic claims - Continually search for ways to improve the billing process, striving for efficiency in daily operations and partnering with co-workers and management to leverage and implement efficiencies - Update and maintain patient files and database records - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Associate's degree or equivalent work experience - Strong organizational skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ year office experience - Previous medical billing experience - Knowledge of ICD10 and HCPCS coding - Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement process Required Skills: Medical billing, ICD10 coding, HCPCS coding, Insurance reimbursement process, Claims submission, HIPAA compliance, Multi-tasking Benefits: Medical, Dental and vision benefits, Retirement benefits, Employee stock purchase plan, Paid time off, Parental leave, Family medical leave, Volunteer time off, Additional leave programs, Life insurance, Disability coverage, Other life and work wellness benefits and discounts
