Lead Backend Developer – NodeJS/TypeScript with AWS Location: Bengaluru - Thanissandra (BCIT) Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for enterprise-grade applications Architect and implement microservices-based solutions and distributed systems Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.) Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements Mentor junior developers and contribute to overall engineering excellence Required Skills & Experience 6–10+ years of backend development experience Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript Experience building API-driven and microservices-based architectures Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:  Compute: Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, API Gateway, SQS, SNS Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and concurrency Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills S​YNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
