The Opportunity
The Annuity and Investment Growth Bond Specialist is an operations‑focused role responsible for the end‑to‑end processing of annuity and investment bond applications, reinvestments, and policy servicing. You will ensure all business is executed accurately, on time, and in line with regulatory and internal requirements, supporting both new inflows and retention activity. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless implementation experience for advisers and clients.
You will work closely with teams across distribution, finance, product, compliance, and tax to resolve queries, progress applications, and maintain strong governance standards. The role also involves monitoring upcoming policy maturities, coordinating funding and settlement, performing control checks, and maintaining accurate system records. Identifying and escalating incidents, breaches, or process issues is an important part of maintaining robust risk controls.
This position suits someone with experience in financial services operations, administration, or processing who brings strong attention to detail, accuracy under volume, and an understanding of risk and compliance frameworks. Confidence working with internal stakeholders and a proactive approach to problem‑solving will help you succeed. Experience with annuities, investment bonds, retirement income products, or advice implementation processes will be highly regarded.
How will you make an impact?
- Manage end-to-end processing of annuity and investment growth bond applications, including new business, rollovers, and reinvestments.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to processing and coordinate funding, settlement, and policy issuance.
- Proactively manage maturing pipelines and execute reinvestments in collaboration with distribution teams.
- Liaise across Distribution, Finance, Product, Compliance, and Tax to resolve queries and progress business.
- Perform control checks to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and product rules.
- Identify, escalate, and document incidents, breaches, or process breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate system records and support reporting, including pipeline tracking and operational metrics.
About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- Experience in financial services operations, administration, or processing roles.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately.
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and operational control frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams.

- Experience with annuities, investment bonds, or retirement income products.
- Exposure to financial advice implementation processes.
