The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the HR Project Manager, the Learning Lead is responsible for evaluating, designing, documenting, delivering, and scheduling comprehensive online training programs for the UKG project. You will develop self-paced courses and short courses using programs like Articulate.
You will work closely with the Change Lead, project streams, and business stakeholders to ensure our workforce is fully equipped, supported, and confident as we continue the enterprise-wide transition to the new system. You will oversee the training framework, manage rollout schedules, and ensure St Vincent’s builds and maintains a sustainable training capability for its Workforce Management solution.
There are a number of online instructor-led training sessions requiring customisation and refreshing and your exceptional presentation and delivery skills. You will be able to jump into sessions to help a learner with specific questions about the training and system. You will be monitoring training evaluations and success measures for continuous improvement.
The successful applicant can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney and will benefit from working in a flexible environment which includes a mix of working from home and at our state based corporate office. As you will know too well with your project background, high profile projects like this require a true commitment and you will be expected to manage your days and work location to suit.
This position will be offered until December 2026 on a Fixed Term Full-Time basis and is available immediately.

- Exceptional organisation, planning, motivation, leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering training outcomes
- Demonstrated competence with instructional design tools like Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, and tools like Photoshop or Canva
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and active listening skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior leadership teams
- Collaborative working practices and the ability to work on multiple priorities effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Experience working in a project environment
- Previous hands-on experience with UKG Dimensions / UKG Pro WFM(desirable)
- Diploma of Training Design and Development or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
