Job Description
Provide advanced emergency and clinical support services within a structured international healthcare environment supporting personnel across an established international healthcare program in Iraq. Working alongside physicians, nurses, EMTs, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, this role combines high-acuity patient assessment, urgent clinical intervention, and hands-on care delivery across emergency, clinic, and inpatient settings.
This role offers the opportunity to practice across a broad clinical scope while working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams in a structured, high-acuity healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced emergency medical assessment, stabilization, and treatment across a wide range of urgent and emergent patient presentations.
- Provide advanced clinical intervention including vascular access, airway management, cardiac monitoring, 12-lead ECG interpretation, medication administration, and emergency stabilization within scope of practice.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to support coordinated patient care and continuity across emergency and clinical settings.
- Support patient documentation, vital sign assessment, medical history collection, and accurate electronic medical record documentation.
- Assist with clinical workflow coordination, care area readiness, and patient support activities across emergency, clinic, and inpatient settings.
- Provide guidance and support to EMT team members while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented care environment.
- Practice across emergency, clinic, and inpatient care environments while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Current U.S. state Paramedic license or National Registry EMT-P certification without restrictions.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; advanced trauma certification such as PHTLS, ITLS, or TCCC required.
- Graduate of a recognized Paramedic training program.
- Ability to practice effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environments.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and ability to meet deployment-related medical and physical requirements.
Preferred
- Previous experience in international, military, or multidisciplinary healthcare environments.
