In this position you will join the SSD Architecture team and help define the domain architecture of Solidigm's datacenter SSDs. You will work with architecture, controller, firmware and hardware engineering groups to shape and define the domain architecture and development of best-in-class SSDs.
Job Description:
Architect IP blocks and features for one or more domains within SSDs, own all aspects of IP definition such as spec development, system flow definition, h/w-s/w mapping, performance.
Participate in product implementation - ASIC and FW arch spec reviews, design reviews, validation coverage reviews, prototyping and performance/QoS characterization
Drive continuous improvements in products and processes based on industry trends, technology trends, competitive trends and internal execution
qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Master's degree (MS) preferred.
5+ years of experience in the following
Embedded systems architecture and design, with hands on contributions in ASIC or FW development.
One or more SSD domains such as PCIe/NVMe or Memory controller or CPU complex architecture.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
In-depth technical knowledge of enterprise storage solutions architecture and design, and the tradeoffs of various architecture solutions including the partitioning between ASIC and firmware.
additionalInformation
The compensation range for this role is $196,240 - $314,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
This position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs. In addition, Solidigm offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability; healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, and a company match on eligible 401(k) plan contributions.
This is a Hybrid role reporting onsite in Rancho Cordova California 3 days per week. Alternate work locations for the role include: San Jose CA, Longmont CO, and Vancouver BC CAN.
