Product Application Engineer

Summary: SK Hynix Memory Solutions America Inc. is a global leader in semiconductor innovation, developing advanced memory solutions. The Product Application Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for enterprise SSDs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and ensuring product quality. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for PCIe and NVMe enterprise SSDs (eSSDs), monitoring test progress, identifying potential issues, and delivering detailed reports to ensure alignment with design specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards - Collaborate cross-functionally with SOC, Firmware, and Hardware teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve system-level issues - Drive coordinated debugging efforts to ensure robust integration, system reliability, and product quality through proactive communication and teamwork Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python (preferred), Java, C/C++ - Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS, command-line tools, and storage utilities (e.g., fio, smartctl, iostat) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related experience is required Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual in Korean is a plus Required Skills: Python, C/C++ Important Skills: Java, Linux/Windows OS Nice-to-Have Skills: Bilingual in Korean, communication, Collaboration skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Company 401(k) match, Cafeteria, Onsite gym, Much more
