Job Description
Summary: Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is a leading amusement park operator, and they are seeking a Park Operations Administrative Team Member. This role involves ensuring proper communication within the operations division and providing support to various operational tasks while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with guests.
Responsibilities:
- Attend required Human Resources Discovery, Rides Department training, and specific ride training
- Successfully complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course through General Rides Training
- Adhere to all Park Policies regarding performance, standards of appearance, and attendance
- Provide courteous greetings and answer any Guest questions. Respond to and resolve Guest comments whenever possible
- Answer telephone calls, transfer calls, take messages, and provide accurate information
- Record all pertinent daily records
- Use the base station to communicate with In-Park Personnel, communicate downtime information, and monitor radio traffic
- Be prepared to respond and assist by making appropriate telephone and base calls in emergency situations
- File daily forms and paperwork as needed and maintain all files in an orderly manner
- Assist all Operations Team Members in a professional manner
- Keep all information and documents confidential
- Use office equipment such as computers and copiers
- Clean work areas as needed
- Complete office and ride certification tests with 100% proficiency
- Operate rides as needed
- Work in trained positions throughout the Operations Division as needed
- Complete Witness Statements as needed
- Report any unsafe acts to your Supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 15
- Must have flexible availability including weekends, weeknights, and holidays
- Most possess above average communication skills
- Must react well in stressful and emergency situations
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak and understand the English language
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 5 hours at a time and as many as 16 hours a day
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day over various surfaces
- May be exposed to: heights, spinning objects or moving water
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
