Job Description
Summary: SiriusXM is the leading audio entertainment company in North America, offering a diverse range of audio content and services. They are seeking an organized and energetic intern to assist in talent relations, including crafting pitches, facilitating promotions, and managing scheduling logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Craft pitches to artist managers and label reps for promotional programming opportunities
- Ensure that all appropriate content is collected during guest visits
- Aid in facilitating promotion of social assets for SiriusXM features
- Planning and prioritizing artist features with managers & publicists
- Identify important upcoming releases and projects to target for outreach
- Facilitate internal scheduling logistics and artist materials
- Maintain legal and archival paperwork for the talent relations department
- Perform other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship as well as broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion
- Good project management and planning skills
- Good personnel management skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations
- Familiar with SiriusXM + Pandora programming
- Ability to lift and move equipment
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship experience preferred
