Job Description
Position Overview
Join our operations team as a Warehouse General team member, where you’ll play a critical role in keeping inventory moving efficiently and accurately. In this role, you’ll support all warehouse activities including receiving, staging, loading, repackaging, storing, and transporting materials—ensuring product accuracy and operational excellence every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
- Read production labels, customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to determine items to move, gather, repack, dispose of, or distribute
- Prepare and record items shipped or received using systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Gather and log detailed inventory information, including labels, descriptions, supplier data, purchase orders, and lot numbers
- Verify products against shipment specifications and ensure proper transportation methods
- Receive, inspect, record, and ship goods with accuracy
- Move materials between receiving, production, and storage areas
- Sort and place items on carts, pallets, racks, shelves, bins, or other storage equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of materials and inventory
- Monitor packaging materials and ingredient inventory; communicate levels to key stakeholders
- Record vendor and part information as needed
- Complete inventory-related forms, including disposition and substitution logs
- Operate forklifts and/or reach trucks to transport materials inside and outside facilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment (cleaning, lubrication, battery charging, fueling)
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials when needed
- Support additional warehouse duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (location dependent)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 months of related experience
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Accuterm, ROSS, or similar)
Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely operate powered equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload under pressure
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Flexible availability for overnight, weekend, holiday, and multiple shift schedules
- Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from very cold to hot environments
- Exposure to production and warehouse conditions, including moving machinery and varying noise levels
Physical Requirements
Regular standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements
Frequent reaching above shoulder level
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
Ability to lift at least 10 pounds
Visual requirements include close vision, depth perception, and focus
