Breakout I, 2nd Shift

Summary: SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation is a leader in designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products for the aerospace industry. They are seeking a Breakout production employee to remove bagging materials and plaster from composite parts, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: - Using an impact hammer and other hand tools removes plaster from inside of composite parts - Removes bagging materials from cured composite parts - Performs surface preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck particles Required Qualifications: - Ability to read and understand detailed instructions - Intermediate to advanced math skills - Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written - Able to identify defective materials and parts - Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems - One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred - Experience in manufacturing and/or aerospace industry preferred - Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs - Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending - Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day Preferred Qualifications: - One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred - Experience in manufacturing and/or aerospace industry preferred Required Skills: Hand, power tools, Manufacturing experience Important Skills: math skills, Reading instructions Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills Benefits: Medical (free employee only coverage and low-cost options available), Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life and AD&D Insurance, Company Sponsored 401k with Employer Match, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Discounts, 8 Paid Holidays plus closed (with pay) for a week during the winter break!, 15 days per year accrued Vacation/Sick time.
