Job Description
Summary: Schneider Electric is a global leader in energy management and automation, committed to sustainability and innovation. As a Supplier Quality Intern, you will collaborate with your team on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional skills while connecting with leaders and peers across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with your team on nonconforming product
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and presenting your ideas
- Supporting Supplier Quality with Jira creation, PPAP creation, MRB Costs, and Supplier Scorecard data collection
- Attending intern-exclusive workshops, networking events, and leadership panels
- Receiving mentorship from experienced professionals and your assigned manager
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year university program and a Junior or above
- Studying Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science) or other technical related experience working in a quality, manufacturing, software programming environment
- All candidates must be highly driven individuals capable of working independently and must have a passion to drive world class quality within the supply base
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO-9000, quality control plans, and problem-solving methodologies
- Working knowledge on the MS tools such Power Point, Excel, Tableau, or any other industry software
