Job Description
Summary: SAP is a leader in enterprise resource planning software, and they are seeking a Sales Development Specialist to identify and create new qualified opportunities for their Account Executives. The role involves engaging with leads through various channels and building strong relationships within the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executives
- Qualification of all inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns
- Report to a Sales Development Manager who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one on one, as well as autonomy to allow you to run your business the way it works for you
- Own your territory as if you were running your own business
- Build knowledge of SAP Concur’s product offerings, competitors, and the outcomes our customers seek from our solutions
- Confidently overcome objections and face the challenges that come with prospecting and calling head-on
- Effectively communicate Concur’s value propositions to key decision makers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sales and marketing teams through clear, confident communication
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, conversations of value, etc.)
- Responsible for both inbound and outbound motions, actively engaging with leads through various channels such as phone, Drift chat, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns
- Leverage digital assets and employ a multi-channel approach to maximize effectiveness by leveraging advanced tools like Iris, Outreach/ReviO, Consensus, Demandbase, ConnectAndSell, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Drift to engage prospects across multiple channels simultaneously
- Participate in development programs such as leadership development and sales readiness programs
- Have frequent opportunities to be recognized and celebrated by your peers and leaders through awards, shout-outs, and daily performance stack rankings
Required Qualifications:
- You have 1-3 years of professional experience, or you have a post-secondary degree or certification
