Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Summary: San Antonio Regional Hospital is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform moderate and high complexity testing in areas such as chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology. The role requires a valid state license and involves working in a licensed acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities: - Perform moderate and high complexity testing in one or more areas to include chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology Required Qualifications: - Valid State of California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or valid State license as a Clinical Microbiology Scientist (MTE) (for Microbiology position only) - Proficient in the use of computerized systems and automated instrumentation - Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the job as noted on the job description Preferred Qualifications: - One (1) year experience in a licensed acute care hospital is preferred Required Skills: Clinical Laboratory Scientist License, Clinical Microbiology Scientist License Important Skills: Computerized systems proficiency, Automated instrumentation proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in acute care hospital, Age specific competencies
