Job Description
Summary: Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. They are seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant to support their Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Team with various administrative tasks and volunteer management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the OCC volunteer database and registration process
- Perform a wide variety of in-season administrative tasks
- Answer and direct incoming ministry phone calls
- Serve as the main point of contact for volunteer inquiries and updates
- Maintain relationships with ministry partners
- Order and organize management staff meals
Required Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess administrative experience
- Have a heart to serve in a hands-on ministry
- Attention to detail and high level of organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Volunteer management experience
- Excellent over-the-phone customer service skills
- Able to lift and move 25 lbs
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
