Architecture Intern

Summary: SAIC is seeking an Architectural Intern to support various facility related projects working in El Segundo, CA. The role involves contributing to architectural designs, preparing floor plans, assisting project leads, and conducting research for presentations. Responsibilities: - Contributing to the development, coordination, and documentation of architectural designs - Preparing floor plans suitable for formal design review and future furniture test fit exercises, ensuring precision, adherence to standards, and alignment with project objectives - Assist project leads with drafting, modeling, and assembling drawing sets while maintaining organized and accurate project files - Conducting research, supporting consultant coordination, and contributing to presentation materials for internal and client-facing meetings Required Qualifications: - High School degree and be enrolled in and have completed at least 1 year (~30 credits) of a bachelor's in architecture program - Demonstration of strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established workflows and quality-control procedures is required - Professionalism, clear communication, and a commitment to learning are essential Required Skills: Architectural design, Floor plan preparation, Modeling, Drawing set assembly, Project file organization, Consultant coordination, Presentation material preparation
