Summer Intern

Summary: Roxbury Tenants of Harvard Association, Inc. (RTH) is seeking an Accounting/Financial Summer Intern to join their Finance and Information Technology team for Summer 2026. The intern will support daily financial operations, data management, process improvement initiatives, and special projects while working closely with the Finance, Information Technology, and Operations teams. Responsibilities: - Assisting with Accounts Payable and Bill.com processing - Supporting month-end and year-end close activities - Preparing journal entries and reconciliations - Assisting with financial reporting and data analysis - Supporting file organization and SharePoint migration projects - Developing Microsoft Office "Lunch & Learn" trainings for staff - Assisting with finance-related process documentation and workflow improvement - Supporting construction project accounting initiatives - Researching college and university resources for resident outreach initiatives Required Qualifications: - College student with at least two years of coursework in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field - Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, graphing, and VLOOKUPs - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with SharePoint, accounting systems, or data management tools Required Skills: Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Pivot tables, Formulas, Graphing, VLOOKUP, SharePoint, Bill.com, Financial reporting, Journal entries, Reconciliations
