Job Description
Summary: Rivet Industries is an American company building integrated task systems for industrial workforces and defense personnel. They are seeking a Hardware Engineer specializing in Power Management and Battery Systems to develop energy solutions for their devices, ensuring reliability and efficiency for mission-critical use.
Responsibilities:
- The objective of this role is to design safe, efficient, and scalable power systems that enable Rivet devices to operate in rugged and resource-constrained environments
- You will deliver hardware solutions that meet strict performance and certification requirements while supporting product integration and manufacturability
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Strong EE fundamentals with expertise in power management, DC-DC design, low-noise EMI DC-DC design, battery systems, or battery management (safety, certification, etc.)
- 0–3 years of experience in hardware design, bring-up, validation, and debugging using EE test equipment
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Cadence or equivalent tools
- Ability to lead power hardware designs in a technical capacity
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage projects independently
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and continuously develop new skills
- Must be a US Person (citizen or permanent resident)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of preferred experience designing hardware for mass-produced products with form factor and integration constraints
