Job Description
Summary: Riverhead Mazda is seeking a motivated and professional Sales Leader Development Intern to join their team this summer, with a clear path to full-time employment. This role offers hands-on experience in sales, customer engagement, and business development within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing customer interactions across in-person, phone, and digital channels
- Support the full vehicle sales process, from initial inquiry to delivery
- Conduct follow-up communication with prospective customers to maintain engagement
- Shadow experienced Client Advisors to learn sales strategy and deal structure
- Manage CRM systems, including lead tracking and appointment setting
- Maintain showroom standards and contribute to a professional customer experience
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media content and vehicle presentations
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across in-person, phone, and digital channels
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
- Interest in sales, business, or customer-facing roles
- Valid, clean driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
