The Sr Project Manager is responsible for working with Project stakeholders & vendors to deliver successful Project outcomes by initiating, planning, leading and managing projects to deliver business solutions. The role requires monitoring and regular reporting on Project progress in line with the Rest Project Management Framework.
Key Accountabilities
Define and maintain environment strategy for Jira and Confluence
Establish and enforce environment governance standards, naming conventions, and controls
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategy
Oversee Jira configuration and standardisation across environments
Govern and maintain:
Projects, workflows, issue types, and schemes
Custom fields and field configurations
Permissions and role-based access models
Ensure consistency of configurations across environments
Manage Jira upgrades, feature enablement, and configuration changes
Control project creation and prevent sprawl through governance processes
Optimise Jira performance, indexing, and system health
Support Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and enterprise delivery models
qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Project Management Certification e.g. PMI/Prince 2 Certification certification (optional)
Relevant Agile certification
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Jira administration and governance
Experience managing Confluence in enterprise environments
Deep understanding of Jira configurations (workflows, schemes, permissions)
Experience with release management and Jira integrations
