The primary role of the People Development job family is to provide thought leadership and solutions that build the capability in our people to drive key outcomes and decisions on talent, organizational capability and leadership to meet future business needs. Success will be measured through our ability to deliver intelligent, on demand, customised solutions that embed a learning culture at ResMed.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
The primary objective of Development specialization within the People Development Job Family is to provide thought leadership and expertise across all talent and learning areas to ensure the strength of ResMed’s talent pipeline and develop a culture of learning.
Key deliverables include supporting the development and implementation of talent and learning activities that build critical capability (e.g.
Workforce planning, Talent review and succession planning and learning experiences ), supporting business partners to drive key outcomes and decisions on talent, organizational capability and leadership; facilitation of individual and team interventions both in and out of the classroom environment; ownership of the end to end learning experience for individuals and teams (assessment, overall design, preparation, communication, execution and evaluation of learning experiences); development of solutions that drive culture transformation and change, behavior shifts and upskilling of staff to new standards.
Research cutting edge trends/industry practices and apply via rapid experimentation and prototyping to measure customer benefit.
Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
Interactions frequently involve highly visible activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other executives and/or academics, lobbying regulators or policy makers and representing the organization on matters of great significance to the organization.
Directs and controls the activities of a significant, complex & sizable business/function through multiple levels of management within the company.
Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and approving changes to methods and practices.
Leads a team of Directors and/or high-level individual contributors.

Required:
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
Develops strategic plans and participates in development of corporate methods and priorities.
Has in-depth knowledge of the company, competitive environment, technology and economic or social implications of organization activities.
Approves budgets and schedules to meet corporate requirements.
