Job Description
Summary: Republic Finance is a growing financial services company that has been helping customers meet their personal finance goals for over 70 years. They are seeking an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager to participate in a paid training program, focusing on branch operations and management while helping customers with their financial needs.
Responsibilities:
- Help customers meet their financial goals by originating new loan business
- Educate customers on consumer lending services, including credit improvement and debt consolidation
- Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training staff
- Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals while promoting core values and ensuring outstanding customer experience
- Evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, make credit decisions, administer loan closings, and process insurance claims
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales or related field
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work well independently, as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
- Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products
- Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience (i.e. retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive based) is preferred but not required
