DSP Construction & Engineering Intern [On-Site]

Summary: EDF power solutions North America has been providing clean energy solutions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico since 1987. The Design Engineer Intern will focus on learning about solar and battery storage project assignments, while supporting projects throughout their life cycle under the direction of the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities: - Prepare engineering deliverables, including plan and elevation drawings, schematics, calculations, and schedules in support of PV (photovoltaic) energy generation system design, for commercial and utility projects in the 1 MW to 200 MW scale. Develop designs in consideration of company safety program and OSHA safety requirements for construction and system operation - Create, organize, and maintain documents associated with projects’ basis of design throughout the project life cycle - Communications with Project Managers, who coordinate scheduling and permitting for project execution - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering required - Currently enrolled as a graduate student specializing in design or construction engineering - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
