Childcare Group Teacher – Before & After School

Summary: Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for their Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves ensuring program compliance, leading engaging activities, managing operations, and communicating with families while providing quality care for children aged 3-12. Responsibilities: - Ensure staff and program operations consistently meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school requirements - Plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support - Oversee daily operational tasks such as accurate attendance and registration tracking, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels - Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and caregivers using the Playground App - Communicate regularly with your direct report to share updates, address concerns, and support a positive team environment Required Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Child Development, Child Development Certificate - Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and Nine college credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to child growth or development - You have medical clearance to perform all job duties and are free from communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB) - You bring a warm, friendly, and positive attitude, with strong interpersonal skills when working with children, parents, and team members - You are professional, dependable, and punctual - You are able to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children Required Skills: Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Child Development Certificate, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, Medical Clearance, Communicable Disease Awareness, Physical Ability to Lift 50 Pounds, Use of Playground App Benefits: Employer-paid childcare for children (ages 3–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you are working with us, Telehealth, vision, and dental coverage, AFLAC supplemental plans, 401(k) for eligible employees, Paid sick time, On-demand pay, Career development and growth opportunities
