Job Description
Summary: Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for their Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves ensuring program compliance, leading engaging activities, managing operations, and communicating with families while providing quality care for children aged 3-12.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure staff and program operations consistently meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school requirements
- Plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support
- Oversee daily operational tasks such as accurate attendance and registration tracking, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and caregivers using the Playground App
- Communicate regularly with your direct report to share updates, address concerns, and support a positive team environment
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Child Development, Child Development Certificate
- Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and Nine college credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to child growth or development
- You have medical clearance to perform all job duties and are free from communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB)
- You bring a warm, friendly, and positive attitude, with strong interpersonal skills when working with children, parents, and team members
- You are professional, dependable, and punctual
- You are able to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children
