Summary: CosmoProf is the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, and they are seeking a Sales Associate to create memorable shopping experiences for customers. The role involves building relationships, recommending products, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional store environment. Responsibilities: - Build relationships and inspire loyalty while working with customers and vendors - Recommend additional and complimentary products - Inform customers of current promotions and events - Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events - Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program - Complete cash and other monetary transactions accurately and efficiently - Maintain a professional store environment and inventory management while communicating any inventory issues - Demonstrate our CosmoProf Culture Values and adhere to our company code of ethics and behavior - Trusted with Company Assets and Technology and expected to maintain accurate records as it pertains to the business - Occasionally you may be required to make bank deposits and open or close the store Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Must 18 years of age or older - Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business - Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner - Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service - Can read and explain product labels - Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager - Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications: - 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred Required Skills: Retail Sales, Product Knowledge, Cash Handling, Inventory Management Benefits: Generous product discount and free sample products., You may qualify for one or more of the following – medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, sick and holiday time depending on the average hours worked.
