Job Description
Summary: RTX is the world's largest aerospace and defense company, seeking a motivated Computer Science Intern for their Pratt & Whitney division. The intern will work on projects to automate and streamline processes, improving efficiency and productivity while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science Intern to join our team
- The intern will work on projects to identify, design, and implement solutions to automate and streamline manual processes, improving efficiency and productivity within the team
- This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic work environment
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C# or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Oracle SQL
- Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, or task scheduling platforms
- Familiarity with DataBricks environment
- Familiarity with Classic Machine Learning and current Artificial Intelligence best practices
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and process optimization techniques
- Experience using Databricks or similar data analytics platform
