Job Description
The position holder acts as a trusted advisor to the Greater China General Manager and the Management Team on communication effectiveness, and champion events, sponsorships, and communication platforms across the region. He/she will be responsible to drive the Bank’s story through compelling content write up that engages various level of stakeholders with measurable impact on Bank’s branding and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Internal Communications
Produce content to ensure all employees are connected and effectively informed on updates
Profile the Bank’s mission to support employee engagement and promote the Bank’s culture and values to its employees
Support key stakeholders in drafting articles, announcements, and/or key presentation
Responsible for the creation and implementation of multiple forms of communication activities and programs within the Bank. Spearhead local internal communications initiatives including writing up and publishing corporate articles, announcements, blogs, business updates and presentations for the region
Design and implement CSR activities, staff engagement and recognition programs as well as townhalls and leadership meetings
External Communications
Develop and execute the external communication activities to profile the Bank’s food and agribusiness leadership position to external stakeholders, with key focus in sustainability and innovation space
Build and sustain a strong relationship with the Media to identify and deliver public relations programs, clients events, press releases, news articles, and/or speaking opportunities at regional & country level for General Manager and business heads to build the Bank’s profile
Identify opportunities for the bank to participate in relevant external events and sponsorships which will enhance the brand’s image.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
Proven writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to stay properly updated on current communication technologies, techniques, and trends
Expertise in driving and building communications platform
Good knowledge of the financial industry
Committed and self-starting individual with good business acumen and creativity
Good understanding of the diverse Asian cultures
Solid written and spoken communication skills in English, preferably with Mandarin and/or Dutch language knowledge
Qualifications:
Essential:
University degree in relevant discipline
8 years of relevant professional experiences with exposures in dealing with C-Suite stakeholders
