The opportunity
We’re looking for a Claims Officer to join our Property Claims team! You’ll play a key role in supporting customers through the end-to-end claims process in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Your new role
- Manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution
- Analyse policy coverage and ensure accurate, timely claim decisions
- Set reserves, authorise payments, and negotiate fair claim outcomes
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing professional and responsive service
- Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines, identifying and escalating risks where required
- Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity while maintaining clear and confidential communication
About you
- Experience managing a portfolio of claims, including end-to-end customer interactions
- A strong customer service background with a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building a career in insurance
- Confident working in a high-volume, phone-based environment, managing competing priorities effectively
- Ability to build rapport and navigate a range of customer expectations, including handling difficult or complex conversations
- Empathetic and professional approach when supporting customers through challenging situations
- Highly organised, self-motivated and a confident communicator across both phone and written channels
