Accounts Payable Staff Accountant

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to assist with bookkeeping and core accounting processes, drive efficiencies, and manage vendor transactions in a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities and execute core accounting processes - Drive efficiencies and automation across key accounting cycles such as payroll and procure-to-pay - Oversee and process vendor invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation for audit testing - Manage vendor onboarding processes and ensure compliance with internal policies Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business - One to three years of general accounting or accounts payable experience - Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information - Excellent organizational skills to monitor a wide range of accounting activities - Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in various situations Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Big 4 accounting firms or a CPA designation - Master's degree in accountancy - Experience in a fast-growth startup or public company setting - Passionate about clean energy and advanced fission technology - Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate technical content effectively Required Skills: Accounting experience, Analytical skills, Organizational skills Important Skills: Bachelor's degree, CPA designation Nice-to-Have Skills: Passion for clean energy, Communication skills, Writing skills Benefits: Flexible time off, Competitive pay, Remote work opportunity with occasional travel to headquarters for team events
