Associate AI Engineer

Summary: Premise Health is a company dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to large organizations and their employees. The Associate AI Engineer role involves supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions, assisting with ML deployments, and collaborating with senior engineers to build production-ready AI capabilities. Responsibilities: - Support ML deployments and API development under guidance of senior team members - Assist with building AI/ML workflows for production applications - Write clean, documented code following best programming practices - Work with containers and CI basics for deployment pipelines - Create API and usage documentation - Document methodology, process, and results of work - Explain AI capabilities and limitations to stakeholders - Receive and respond to feedback in a professional manner - Collaborate with senior AI engineers to understand project goals - Support integration of AI outputs into internal systems Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related field - 0-2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development - Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks - Experience with REST APIs and basic CI/CD concepts - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) - Exposure to ML coursework or applied projects - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Databricks) Preferred Qualifications: - Healthcare data experience Required Skills: Python, AI/ML engineering, REST APIs Important Skills: CI/CD concepts, Containerization (Docker), Cloud platforms Azure, Cloud platforms AWS Nice-to-Have Skills: Healthcare data experience, Collaboration skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and disability insurance, A 401(k) program with company match, Paid holidays and vacation time, A company-sponsored wellness program, EAP, Access to virtual primary care and virtual behavioral health at no cost for team members and their dependents
