Under the general supervision of the Controller and Senior Accountant, the Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, entering invoice transactions, account reconciliations, data analysis and other tasks as may be assigned. Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters--please note, this is a temp-to-hire status. In the collaboration with the Payroll team, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for all aspects of payroll including but not limited to the preparation of the bi-weekly payroll for the agency, audit and communication regarding timesheets, the payroll tax filings, interfacing with payroll enterprise on a weekly basis, interfacing with employees on a daily basis and supporting generation of payroll related reports.
