Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to build, maintain, and expand client relationships within an assigned territory, positioning Pioneer as the preferred curtain wall vendor. This individual will work closely with Sales, Estimating, and Executive teams to provide critical project information, support bid strategy, and establish themselves as a subject matter expert in the curtain wall industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Development & Relationship Management
- Identify and target prospective clients while nurturing existing relationships.
- Represent Pioneer in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders including owners, architects, and general contractors.
- Actively participate in industry organizations (e.g., ACI) and maintain professional memberships.
- Host presentation to promote Pioneer.
- Bring in new leads and opportunities.
- Make and establish a list of General Contractors or other clients to target.
- Get on General Contractors prequalification list.
Sales & Market Positioning
- Collaborate with internal leadership to align with client needs and reinforce Pioneer’s market position.
- Guide project selection based on company vision, core competencies, and strategic goals.
- Pre-qualify Pioneer as a preferred manufacturer, fabricator, and installer.
Communication & Collaboration
- Present proposals and technical solutions clearly to clients and project teams.
- Support Estimators and Estimating Manager in interpreting project requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and encourage feedback from all departments to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote Pioneer by meeting with General Contractors, Architects and Owners.
Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge
- Act as a trusted advisor and technical expert in curtain wall systems.
- Educate clients and internal teams on system requirements, ensuring designs are structurally sound, environmentally compliant, and feasible for both fabrication and installation.
Work Management
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of upcoming projects through proactive client engagement.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive bid proposals and related documentation.
- Help evaluate pricing of subcontracted project components.
- Keep meeting notes and to support the estimate in preparation of award and turnover meeting and prevent any scope gaps.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction sales or a related role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, including plans, specifications, contracts, and budgets.
- Familiarity with basic engineering and architectural principles.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%; position is based in-office in either Baltimore, MD or Mason, OH when not traveling.
