Customer Service Gate Agent (Full-Time)

Summary: Piedmont Airlines is dedicated to delivering industry-leading service and is looking for a motivated Customer Service Gate Agent to join their Ground Handling Department. The primary responsibility is to assist passengers with boarding and disembarking flights while providing excellent customer service and support for special needs. Responsibilities: - Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights - Monitor computerized passenger boarding - Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors - Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required - Operate the Jetway - Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives Required Qualifications: - Successful completion of training course - Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment - Effective communication skills - Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask - Lift seventy (70) pounds - Work all shifts - Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license and clear driving record - 10-year Criminal History Records Check - Drug screen as required - Proof of high school or GED completion - Minimum 18 years of age Preferred Qualifications: - Previous airline experience - Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider - Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs Required Skills: Customer service, Effective communication Important Skills: Computer applications knowledge, Organizational skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Multitasking Benefits: Paid training, Holiday pay, 401(k), Vacation, Family travel on the American Airlines network, Medical and dental available
