Job Description
The Principal Healthcare Consultant, IR is responsible for driving professional sales and solutions business development together with zone sales teams, utilizing customer intelligence to enhance the sales funnel, crafting compelling proposals, and lead creation of value based technology replacement plans.
Your role:
Strategic Account & Strategic Partnership
Build and manage long‑term strategic partnerships with leading international health systems and providers.
Engage C‑suite executives, clinical leadership, and healthcare technology management (HTM) teams to align enterprise priorities and transformation objectives.
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to healthcare providers on service line strategy, operational performance, and healthcare technology transformation.
Position Philips as a trusted, long‑term partner in healthcare transformation beyond product‑centric engagement.
Healthcare Technology & Enterprise Strategy Advisory
Advise providers on healthcare technology management strategy, including lifecycle planning, asset utilization, and infrastructure modernization.
Align clinical technology investments with long‑term service line, operational, and enterprise strategies.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and utilization of imaging, cardiovascular, and enterprise monitoring technologies.
Service Line & Clinical Operations Expertise
Leverage deep expertise in radiology, cardiology, and enterprise patient monitoring to optimize care delivery and service line performance.
Provide strategic guidance on clinical workflow design, patient throughput, and care pathway optimization.
Collaborate with clinical leaders, service line administrators, and HTM teams to improve operational and clinical outcomes.
Collaborate with health systems to align technology investments with long-term operational and service line strategies.
Consultative Engagement & Healthcare Transformation
Lead consultative engagements focused on operational excellence, clinical performance, and technology‑enabled transformation.
Conduct structured assessments of clinical workflows, departmental operations, and technology utilization across hospital environments.
Translate insights into strategic roadmaps and transformation programs delivering measurable improvements in care delivery and efficiency.
Business Enablement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Philips commercial, clinical, and service teams to support early engagement, strategic account development, and enterprise partnerships.
Provide customer and market insights that inform Philips’ enterprise partnership strategy and MedTech growth ambitions.
Measure, articulate, and communicate the impact of transformation initiatives and partnerships to senior stakeholders.
Standardization, Scalability & DIY Consultancy Enablement
Contribute to the standardization of Healthcare Consultancy Services methodologies, tools, and deliverables to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across markets.
Support the development and deployment of modular consultancy offerings and Do‑It‑Yourself (DIY) toolkits that enable customers and local Philips teams to apply best‑practice assessments, workflows, and improvement frameworks.
Enable broader adoption of consultancy value by embedding standardized frameworks and self‑service tools into early engagement, pre‑sales, and ongoing customer partnerships.
You're the right fit if:
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
10+ years of experience in healthcare, including healthcare consulting, healthcare technology management, service line strategy, or healthcare business development.
Strong domain expertise in radiology, medical imaging, cardiology, or cardiovascular service lines.
Experience engaging with healthcare technology management, biomedical engineering, or clinical engineering teams.
Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with healthcare executives and clinical leadership.
Experience conducting clinical workflow and operational assessments in hospital environments.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to travel intercontinental up to 40%.
