Wage: $23.00 per hour
Core business hours: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, (flexibility to work overtime when required)

The Receiving Lead will execute the daily responsibilities of the inbound management process including Receiving, Inspection, Returns Processing, Internal Orders, Put-away, and Replenishment. Will supervise line-level warehouse staff in the execution of their daily responsibilities.
Essential Duties:
- Execute the daily responsibilities of the Inbound Management process including Receiving, Inspection, Returns Processing, Internal Orders, Replenishment and Put-away.
- Supervise staff by delegating duties and instructing in the proper methods to perform tasks.
- Plan workloads and staffing levels to optimize the inbound management process.
- Must be willing to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks including but not limited to cherry pickers and forklifts.
- Oversee the planning of the inbound transportation schedule with receiving to maximize flow-delivery of inbound shipments.
- Supervise and execute the unloading of shipments from trailers/containers efficiently and safely.
- Supervise and execute the confirmation process of physical goods received to ensure receipt accuracy.
- Monitor and execute, with attention to detail, the inspection process of goods to determine the quality of products received.
- Supervise and execute the replenishment process to ensure inventory levels within warehouse pick locations are adequate.
- Supervise and execute the returns process completely and efficiently.
- Ensures inventory accuracy through execution of best in class inventory management practices and methods.
- Maintain warehouse operational activities in accordance with formalized warehouse & distribution management policies and procedures.
- Supervise warehouse staff to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Educate and train warehouse staff in the proper execution of the inbound management process.
- Assist warehouse staff in resolving inbound issues such as receiving discrepancies, damaged products and perform a root cause analysis.
- Provide recommendations to management for processes and procedures improvements and assist with the implementation.
- Monitor all inbound activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and product condition in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain preventative maintenance and safety programs to ensure effective equipment utilization and safety measures are in place for warehouse staff.
- Cross-train in all other functional areas of warehouse and inventory management including inventory control, picking, transportation management and shipping to maintain flexibility of resource requirements across warehouse value chain.
- Responsible for adhering to Lock/Out Tag/Out procedures to properly lock or tag out faulty equipment/machinery.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Attendance and punctuality are an essential job duty including time management.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- 1+ year experience working in complex warehouse & distribution environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and General Abilities:
- Knowledge in the principles of warehouse & distribution management.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of warehouse & distribution operations including inbound, inventory control, outbound, facilities operations and warehouse administration.
- Working knowledge in W.M.S. and Inventory Control Application required (Oracle application experience is preferred).
- Working knowledge of Radio Frequency technology including R.F. gun navigation and task management is required.
- Prioritize tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Working knowledge of principle safety concerns within a warehouse & distribution environment.

- Supervisory experience in training, directing, coaching, motivating, and executing a dynamic, fast pace warehouse team with differing levels of skill to achieve expected performance and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and to motivate line-level staff.
- Ability to provide leadership in performing daily activity including clear communication of instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows application and Microsoft Office software.
- PC Desktop knowledge and usage required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Infrequent sitting.
• Infrequent Pulling/Pushing up to 1500lbs using a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or Power Industrial Truck.
